In addition, GDS is responsible for identifying subcontractors for system implementation and works with key suppliers providing technologies and products in this regard. Once the system has been installed, commissioned and set up, GDS coordinates all maintenance and repair work, thus closing the entire logistics chain over the lifetime of the product.
